More Environmentally friendly
Foods that have been genetically modified are more environmentally friendly then they were originally. This is because they have been modified to Conserve water and soil. GM foods save water because they have been transformed to adapt to little water and still thrive. GM foods conserve soil because some places don't have the right soil type for the growth of certain foods. For example in Africa it is difficult for them to grow produce because of the soil type. Therefore transforming foods with biotechnology can improve and help the environment because they use less water, and can adapt to different soils.
